Academic Authority &
The institution namely the Methodist Lay Training College is under the jurisdiction of the Conference and has an independent status governed by a Board appointed by Conference to work closely with all departments of Conference.
The operational control of the college is in the hands of the MLTC Board of Governors whose membership is drawn from the Conference, while academic affairs are overseen by the College’s Faculty. The Principal of the institution, along with the other members of the Management Group are responsible for running the school on a day-to-day basis.
The Methodist Lay Training College is under Partial Registration for operation as a postsecondary educational institution by the Fiji Higher Education Commission which needed to be upgraded to full registration category in the first quarter of this year 2022.
